to be wed in May
Liz and Sean just left the studio for our first meeting! I am photographing their wedding this May at Homewood in Asheville. I am super excited! It just so happened to be snowing while we met so we did a 5 minute photo session to get to know each other! LOVE LOVE- I shot some film too, but we will have to wait on those... thank you Liz and Sean for the wonderful meeting this am; I hope you make it home safely!

our Paris camera!
I put aside some time last weekend to play with the 12x12" plate camera Douglas and I scooped up in Paris this past fall- its a gorgeous 1860's camera... We are working on getting some backs made to hold glass plates and film, but to test I used 8x10" bw film and taped it to the ground glass... very difficult to avoid light leaks, but the image turned out quite nice. We are very excited to create some moving portraits this year with the new toy! I am quite positve we will be calling on the help of Harry Taylor for some mentoring!
